Objective
To develop a user friendly online payment portal with various features and functionalities that included a customized shopping cart, secure paypal and an accounts area for uploading files.
Solution
Rocketriver provided 2 different layouts for the website keeping in mind the company’s requirements and the content they provided.
The complete ordering and payment procedure of the website included following steps:
- User registration
- User uploading the required files
- User selecting the products and the quantity needed.
- Payment Process using Paypal.
For fleetprint, one of the most essential features was the order and payment procedure. Keeping this in mind, Rocketriver created a user-friendly procedure by creating wire frames for each step in the process and taking user feedback.
Once the layout was finalized Rocketriver created the webpages using PHP and back end was developed using MYSQL. Rocketriver also wanted to attract quality traffic to the websites using SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
The homepage listed all the products offered by Fleetprint. It also had a unit where promotional offers provide by the company were displayed. The details and images for the products and promotion offer were provided by the company. In order to attract traffic to the site, Green fin submitted the website to search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN. Special keywords were also used for SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
End Result
The client started the project selecting a Professional E-Commerce Package but ended up customizing the site with a detailed payment gateway. The end result was an easy to use website that had a quality, branded look that users could trust.
